Club policies

At Spotswood Cricket Club, we’re committed to playing within the spirit of the game and in a way that ensures integrity, fairness and safety for all. That’s where policies and codes of behaviour come into play – it’s our commitment to you that we have standards we expect all club members and supporters to adhere to.

We will be continuing work in this area throughout 2024–25, but for now, below are our main policies and codes of conduct.

Safeguarding children and young people

Australian Cricket is working to ensure everyone participating in cricket, including children and young people, has a safe, inclusive and fun experience.  To do this they have created a Child Safe Framework made up of the Looking After Our Kids Code of Behaviour and Australian Cricket’s Policy for Safeguarding Children and Young People.

The Spotswood Cricket Club has endorsed and accepted Australian Cricket’s Policy for Safeguarding Children and Young People, Australian Cricket’s ‘Looking After Our Kids’ Code of Behaviour for Affiliated Associations and Clubs, and Australian Cricket’s

Commitment to Safeguarding Children and Young People, effective as at 1st October 2024
